Goodrich Aerostructures Negotiations 2009 Negotiations Update Thursday February 6, 2009
Your Negotiating Committees from Chula Vista and Riverside have made substantial progress in Job Study and Contract Language. Today your committees gave Goodrich the Union's first economic proposal.

Negotiations Update Thursday January 29, 2009 Brothers & Sisters, Your Negotiating Committees want to thank you for your support. There was a large turnout at our Local Lodges on January 27, 2009. The result of the Strike Sanction Vote that was held at the Local Lodges in Chula Vista and Riverside was an overwhelming 94% in favor. With your help, this sent a clear and unmistakable message through your attendance and participation at this vote. As your Negotiating Committees from Chula Vista and Riverside draw closer to economics, they are still discussing Job Study and Contract Language with the company. At this time, the Union and the company cannot come to terms on Custodian Contractors, Transfers, AMQAS, Kaizen and management performing bargaining unit work. Mantech continues to be an issue in Riverside as salary employees are doing the usual and established work that is performed by the bargaining unit. Your committees are trying to hammer out these issues. Once again, the committees thank you for your support and will update you with further information.
